About the role#
As a Software Engineering intern, you will contribute to projects that support Intel products and platforms. You will work alongside engineers and technical leaders to build technical expertise while gaining hands-on experience. This role focuses on the intersection of hardware, software, and manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, debug, and improve software for Intel products.
- Support code reviews, high-level design, scripting, automation, and validation tasks.
- Contribute to open and secure software platforms.
- Apply programming, data, and systems thinking to solve engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, product, and software teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
- At least 3 months of experience from coursework, academic projects, research, internships, co-ops, or student organizations.
- Interest or experience in design, architecture, programming, scripting, data analysis, automation, modeling, simulation, validation, or debugging.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills for team-based environments.

- Locations: Hillsboro, Oregon; Folsom, California; Santa Clara, California; Austin, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona.
- Terms: Spring 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship.
