    About the role#

    As a Software Engineering intern, you will contribute to projects that support Intel products and platforms. You will work alongside engineers and technical leaders to build technical expertise while gaining hands-on experience. This role focuses on the intersection of hardware, software, and manufacturing.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, develop, test, debug, and improve software for Intel products.
    • Support code reviews, high-level design, scripting, automation, and validation tasks.
    • Contribute to open and secure software platforms.
    • Apply programming, data, and systems thinking to solve engineering challenges.
    • Collaborate with hardware, systems, product, and software teams.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
    • At least 3 months of experience from coursework, academic projects, research, internships, co-ops, or student organizations.
    • Interest or experience in design, architecture, programming, scripting, data analysis, automation, modeling, simulation, validation, or debugging.
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills for team-based environments.

    • Locations: Hillsboro, Oregon; Folsom, California; Santa Clara, California; Austin, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona.
    • Terms: Spring 2027 and Summer 2027.
    • Work modality: On-site.
    • This is a paid, full-time internship.
    • This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship.
