About the role#
The Verbal Identity Fellow is a full-time, integrated position within our studio. You will act as a verbal sponge, supporting project leads and gaining exposure to all aspects of the design process. This role begins as a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position. You will work alongside strategists, designers, and client managers to develop creative work for brands across various industries.
What you'll do#
- Understand client businesses to create effective work.
- Support project leads by performing research and generating creative content.
- Contribute to naming, voice, messaging, and content strategy projects.
- Prepare client presentations and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
What you'll need#
- 0 to 1 year of professional experience, including previous internships in branding or marketing.
- A degree or background in a writing-intensive field such as English, Communications, Philosophy, Marketing, Journalism, Linguistics, or Creative Writing.
- Strong verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with PowerPoint experience being a plus.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to critique your own work and the work of others.
- Knowledge of foreign languages is a plus.
Location & details#
This is a hybrid role based in New York, New York. You are expected to be in the office 3 days per week. This position is paid at an hourly rate of $30 per hour.
