About the role#
International Justice Mission hires Aftercare Interns and Fellows to support national staff with programming for casework involving human trafficking, bonded labor, child sexual assault, and intimate partner violence. These roles focus on the restoration and rehabilitation of clients. The program offers placements across various international field offices.
What you'll do#
- Manage casework information and input data into the Casework Tracking Management System.
- Conduct research and impact assessments on aftercare interventions.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local aftercare providers.
- Draft best practices for client rehabilitation and reintegration.
- Complete professional writing assignments, such as grant proposals and program reports.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to aftercare staff.
- Travel with staff to meet with clients and area leaders as required by the office.
What you'll need#
- A mature orthodox Christian faith.
- For Internships: A Bachelor's degree and at least one prior professional internship or significant leadership experience.
- For Fellowships: A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or at least three years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in Spanish is required for placements in Latin America offices.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software.

- This is a paid, full-time, hybrid position based in the District of Columbia.
- Terms are available for Summer 2027, Fall 2027, and Winter 2028.
