About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in transportation and logistics. You will work under supervision to support customer service and daily operations. The role is part-time, offering between 20 and 25 hours of work per week during the school semester.
What you'll do#
- Assist customers with transportation and logistics services.
- Participate in daily operations like freight planning and asset utilization.
- Manage Department of Transportation compliance and driver payroll tasks.
- Learn about industry trends, specifically regarding driver retention.
- Complete account-specific duties as requested by customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Preferred majors include Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
