About the role#
The Supply Chain Purchasing Intern position at nVent offers a 12-week, full-time opportunity during the summer of 2027. You will support various facets of the supply management function within a global manufacturing organization. This role is based at our Anoka, Minnesota plant.
What you'll do#
- Analyze spend and perform detailed supply market analysis for the Supply Chain Management team.
- Lead data harmonizing efforts and create standard reporting templates.
- Develop and document common processes to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Design and develop supply chain initiatives to improve responsiveness to customer demand.
- Engage in professional development through mentorship, networking, and structured learning opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or engineering (Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical).
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to work full-time from June through August 2027.
- Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools like Tableau.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership experience or previous internship work.
- A strong work ethic, personal responsibility, and a willingness to collaborate across all levels of the organization.

- Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States.
- Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid internship at $22 per hour.
- Employment Status: Full-time.
- Note: Interns are responsible for their own transportation to and from the work site.
