About the role#
As a Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting various marketing initiatives while learning the fundamentals of healthcare marketing. You will work closely with our marketing team to contribute to projects that enhance brand awareness, engage our community, and promote our services. This role is designed for students or recent graduates who want to build practical experience in content creation, digital marketing, event coordination, and performance analysis.
What you'll do#
- Support digital marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, website updates, and online advertising efforts.
- Help create content for social media posts, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Participate in the planning and coordination of events and marketing activities.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience engagement opportunities.
- Assist with tracking and organizing marketing metrics and campaign performance data.
- Support referral and patient engagement initiatives that promote our services and wellness programs.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant program such as Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Business.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and an interest in learning about marketing and brand development.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and an interest in digital marketing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with Canva, social media tools, or design software is a plus.
- Previous experience in marketing through internships, volunteer work, or campus organizations is helpful.

- Location: Fairfax, Virginia (Hybrid).
- Terms: Summer 2026 or Fall 2026.
- Hours: 10-20 hours per week.
- Compensation: This position is for credit earning and is unpaid.
