About the role#
This internship provides direct exposure to feed production, customer service, and sales. You will work within our feed mills to understand the production process while gaining hands-on experience in office operations and field sales.
What you'll do#
- Learn the feed production process at our Grinnell and Gilbert feed mills.
- Work with small teams to understand daily mill operations.
- Handle office tasks such as invoicing, receiving feed orders, and managing grain or feed ingredient intake.
- Provide customer service to clients visiting the feed mill offices.
- Join sales personnel on farm calls to learn about the various animal species we serve.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license.
