About the role#
The Kokosing Co-op Program offers practical experience in the construction industry. You will work alongside full-time professionals, gain insight into how the organization operates, and contribute to the completion of quality projects. This program aims to prepare students for future full-time employment within the industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist full-time construction professionals with daily tasks.
- Complete project responsibilities assigned by your supervisor.
- Connect with a mentor in your field of study for support and guidance.
- Network with senior leaders, team members, and other co-ops.
- Participate in the Co-op Capstone Event to present your experiences and learning.
- Gain firsthand experience in construction roles, which may include field or laborer positions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Architecture.
- An interest in gaining practical experience within the construction industry.
- Ability to work on-site in a full-time capacity.
