About the role#
We are hiring a Pharmacist Intern to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position with a rolling term. You will work directly under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support pharmacy operations and customer care.
What you'll do#
- Provide drug counseling to customers.
- Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
- Contact prescribers’ offices for authorization.
- Provide immunizations under the supervision of the pharmacist.
- Process third party insurance information for customers.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a US school of pharmacy.
- A current state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.
- The ability to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
