About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. You will support the design, improvement, and sustainment of manufacturing processes to meet quality, delivery, cost, and safety goals. You will work closely with staff and managers to apply engineering principles and data analysis to real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Innovate and sustain process designs to meet quality, delivery, and cost expectations.
- Redesign core processes to improve operating performance.
- Work with staff and managers to implement and maintain process improvements.
- Manufacture products that meet safety, productivity, quality, and on-time standards.
- Manage new and existing processes, including process equipment and testing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering program.
- Ability to apply engineering principles in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with data analysis.
- Familiarity with process improvement techniques.
- Capacity to work with cross-functional teams.

- Location: Gatesville, Texas.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid position.
- This role is open on a rolling basis.
