About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Melbourne, Florida. You will support the EHS department by performing entry-level administrative tasks that help you learn professional operations in a defense manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Handle professional administrative work of an introductory nature.
- Draft documents and electronic information using word processing tools.
- Prepare routine reports with guidance from your team.
- Manage, organize, and update data within database applications.
- Assist with the coordination of meetings, conferences, and project team activities.
- Interact with others in person and over the phone to project a professional company image.
- Follow all procedures for the proper use and care of equipment and materials.
- Support and communicate the values and culture of the organization.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.
- Proficiency with standard office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- You must hold an active DOD security clearance or be able to obtain one.
