About the role#
The HUBZone Intern provides administrative and operational support to our team in Huntsville. This is a part-time position requiring 10 hours per week, or 40 hours per month, to meet SBA guidelines. You will work on-site in a professional office environment.
What you'll do#
- Answer phones and respond to routine email and telephone inquiries.
- Handle administrative tasks such as document preparation, filing, photocopying, and faxing.
- Manage databases and enter information accurately according to company procedures.
- Coordinate meetings, set up conference rooms, and manage scheduling.
- Assist with research, community outreach, and special projects.
What you'll need#
- You must reside in a qualified HUBZone area and maintain this eligibility throughout your employment.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in administrative or customer service roles is preferred.
