About the role#
Lipscomb Academy is hiring a student worker to serve as an Intramural Sports Official. This is a paid, on-site position based in Nashville, Tennessee. The role is available on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply the current rules and regulations for the specific intramural sport.
- Manage game situations by making accurate calls and enforcing rules.
- Interact with participants to maintain a standard of fair play.
What you'll need#
- General knowledge of sports.
- Ability to handle rule-based situations and make decisions on the fly.
- Strong soft skills, including conflict resolution.
- Previous experience playing or officiating sports is helpful but not required.
