About the role#
Lipscomb Academy is hiring student workers to support the athletic department. This is a paid, on-site role with a rolling start date. It is open to students majoring in Kinesiology, Real Estate, Psychology, Business Administration, or Communications.
What you'll do#
You will help run athletic events. Your tasks include working as ball handlers for soccer and volleyball, selling tickets, ushering, and staffing concessions. You are also responsible for setting up before games and breaking down equipment after they end. Work begins one hour before game time and finishes about 30 minutes after the game ends. Other duties may be assigned by the game day manager.
What you'll need#
You must be punctual because games rely on these roles being filled before the start time. You need to stay aware of weather conditions, as outdoor games continue rain or shine. Eligibility for Federal Work Study is a plus.
