About the role#
As an HR Co-op Student, you will provide administrative support and assist HR Business Partners with various programs and initiatives. You will help coordinate Human Resources activities and support corporate client groups. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in HR operations while contributing to team projects.
What you'll do#
- Validate data in Workday to ensure compliance and meet people objectives.
- Gather data and perform analysis for Individual Development Plans, Exit Interviews, and training reports.
- Resolve payroll inquiries, update colleague information, and submit IT tickets.
- Manage headcount tracking and update organizational charts.
- Revamp onboarding and training guides while preparing announcements for new hires.
- Support the Colleague Engagement Survey through reporting, score carding, and creating presentation decks.
- Assist with the Talent Review process by taking notes, updating talent grids, and organizing files.
- Provide administrative support for training sessions, including workshops and mental health programs.
- Help the Senior Director and HR Business Partners with research, program implementation, and reporting.
- Assist with Blue Culture activities, including researching and planning team building events.
- Pursue professional development through company e-learning courses, workshops, and seminars.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources, with an HR Management Certification completed or in progress.
- Strong digital literacy in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Understanding of databases and reporting or monitoring tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High degree of organization and attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Customer-focused approach to building positive relationships.
- Candidates 18 years or older must complete a criminal background check.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 6, 2027 to April 16, 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid (up to 1 day remote per week, with 4 days in the office).
- Employment: Full time, paid position.
