About the role#
We are looking for an electronics design intern to join our team in Mountain View. You will help design the next generation of boards for our home energy storage systems. This role is hands-on and involves working with both simulations and physical hardware throughout the product development process.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to product features, design, and vision.
- Design and develop digital electronics, analog electronics, and power supplies.
- Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, EMC, RF, design validation, thermal, compliance, reliability, and manufacturing test engineers.
- Perform bring up and debug of new boards.
What you'll need#
- Current major in Electrical Engineering or equivalent evidence of exceptional ability.
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design for sensing, communication, and power.
- Experience with electronics design bring up involving mixed analog and digital signals.
- Familiarity with lab testing tools and equipment for electrical engineering tests.
- Experience with Altium or similar ECAD tools and direct PCB design is preferred.
