About the role#
Magellan Aerospace is seeking a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Co-op Student for a 4-month term in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This full-time, paid position runs through the Fall 2026 semester, ending December 24, 2026. You will gain hands-on experience through on-the-job training while contributing to core supply chain functions.
What you'll do#
- Solicit Requests for Quotation and build Purchase Orders.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms and conditions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and perform open-order follow-up.
- Work on projects related to product lead time, Controlled Goods, and supplier qualification.
- Manage Supplier Evaluation Requests and participate in monthly 6S audits.
- Maintain data integrity by performing mass updates and generating reports in Excel and Access.
- Handle general office administration including filing, record keeping, and email management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Logistics and Supply Chain Management program or a related discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems.
