    About the role#

    As an Indirect Procurement Intern at our Long Beach site, you will support the Supply Chain Team with market analysis and cost optimization projects. This role requires you to apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real-world challenges while working alongside mentors and team members.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct market analysis to support supply chain decisions.
    • Identify solutions to optimize costs while maintaining service quality.
    • Lead development projects independently.
    • Collaborate across departments to deliver results.
    • Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to provide progress updates.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • At least 3 months of corporate experience in supply chain functions.
    • Preference is given to candidates with a 3.5 GPA or higher and 6+ months of supply chain experience.
    • Preferred technical skills include data analytics, PowerBI, Infor LN, Python, Six Sigma, and advanced Excel proficiency.
    • Experience in supply chain purchasing and procurement is also preferred.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Long Beach, California.
    • Term: Winter 2027.
    • Modality: Full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting in January, February, or March 2027.
    • Compensation: $28.00 per hour.
    • This position is paid.
