About the role#
This is a full-time Procurement Intern position for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within the Supply Chain function, collaborating with teams such as Engineering, Logistics, and Finance to manage procurement tasks and support program goals.
What you'll do#
- Place purchase orders for low to medium dollar levels and procurement complexity.
- Manage supplier relationships, development, and overall performance.
- Prepare solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFI, and IDIQ documents.
- Analyze quotations and proposals using price and cost analysis techniques.
- Track and drive success for key performance metrics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Management, Business Analytics, or a related Business major.
- Enrollment must be active through the completion of the internship session.
- Experience with Supply Chain processes, tools, and Microsoft Office software.
- U.S. citizenship is required to access program information.
- Preferred: Experience in a defense contracting environment, familiarity with SAP/PRISM, or previous internship experience.
