About the role#
Make-A-Wish Alabama is looking for an Events Intern to support the Development Team for the Spring 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time hybrid position. You will help with the planning and execution of special events, corporate alliances, and individual giving efforts.
What you'll do#
You will work directly with the Development Team on daily operations. Your tasks include:
- Soliciting items for silent auctions.
- Managing mass emails and calling vendors, donors, and wish families.
- Performing data entry and pulling information from the donor database.
- Researching and obtaining quotes for event needs.
- Attending select after-hour or weekend events.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing.

This internship is based in Alabama and follows a hybrid work model. Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship.
