About the role#
Marbles Kids Museum is looking for a creative storyteller to join our marketing team for a Winter 2027 internship. You will help bring the magic of play to life by creating content that highlights our unique approach and community impact. This role is unpaid and requires enrollment in a formal education program for academic credit.
What you'll do#
- Capture photo and video content for our social media channels.
- Assist in curating posts that recap museum programs and events.
- Help develop campaigns that promote our mission and community activities.
- Attend and participate in regular marketing team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Media Studies.
- Strong creative, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Comfort interacting with children and families in an energetic, hands-on environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and current digital trends.
Location & details#
- Location: Raleigh, North Carolina.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible, including some evenings and weekends for signature events.
- Requirements: Candidates must be enrolled in a class requiring an internship for credit. Employment is contingent on a background check.
