About the role#
Mariner is hiring an Intern for Financial Planning in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role supports our team in servicing high net worth and ultra high net worth clients. You will gain experience in advisory, communication, and business development by assisting with client onboarding, meeting preparation, and the creation of financial plans.
What you'll do#
- Support client onboarding by preparing and processing paperwork.
- Schedule client meetings and create materials to explain financial concepts.
- Participate in meeting follow-up, including research, documentation, and solution development.
- Assist with client service tasks like account maintenance and money movement.
- Use financial planning and CRM software for data management and plan development.
- Observe client meetings to learn how advisors build relationships and solve problems.
- Contribute ideas during team discussions and collaborate on special projects.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor or master degree and expect to graduate within 12 months of the start date.
- You have demonstrated leadership through work or extracurricular activities.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- You are willing to learn financial planning tools and CRM systems.
- You have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
