    About the role#

    As a Site Reliability Engineering Intern, you will serve as a production readiness steward for Mastercard products. You will work within the Business Operations team to ensure platform stability and health. This role focuses on breaking down barriers to development by fostering ownership and helping teams build resilient, scalable products.

    What you'll do#

    • Ensure the stability and health of the production platform.
    • Support developers during the application build phase by applying software run principles.
    • Perform triage, root cause analysis, and blameless post-mortems.
    • Manage production and change activities to maximize the customer experience.
    • Engage early in the development lifecycle to provide continuous operational feedback.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
    • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
    • Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and foundational networking concepts.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and DevOps practices.
    • An understanding of system monitoring, observability, and application reliability.
    • This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship.
