About the role#
Matiss is looking for students and apprentices to join our factory team. Whether you are training as a machinist, CNC programmer, electromechanician, electrician, mechanic-assembler, or welder-assembler, we offer opportunities for internships and work-study programs. You will work on building automated production equipment in an environment that supports your professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the manufacturing of automated production equipment.
- Learn and apply your skills within our factory operations.
- Participate in daily activities related to your specific trade.
- Assist in the commissioning of equipment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant trade or engineering program, including Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- A genuine interest in automated production equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
- Availability for a work-study program.
Location & details#
- Location: St-Georges, Quebec, Canada.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday.
- Benefits: Full group insurance from your start date, a group RRSP with employer contribution up to 2 percent, and a commissioning bonus.
- Employment type: Full-time paid position.
