About the role#
You will capture the stories and moments that define Riverbend Co-op. From local events and busy store days to team member highlights and product features, you will help show what makes our co-op a part of the community. This role involves working approximately 16 to 20 hours per month to create photos, videos, reels, and stories for our social media channels.
What you'll do#
- Capture photos and videos of people, products, services, events, promotions, and locations.
- Brainstorm ideas for reels, stories, posts, captions, behind-the-scenes clips, and product features.
- Help make our social media presence feel fresh, creative, positive, and connected to local communities.
- Partner with the Marketing and Community Relations Manager to plan content and develop new ideas.
- Meet and interact with team members, customers, and community partners.
- Follow brand, privacy, safety, and approval guidelines for all content.
- Participate in training and implement feedback to grow your skills.
What you'll need#
- You are a high school student or a recent graduate.
- A creative mindset and a willingness to try new things.
- Experience or interest in taking photos, filming videos, making reels, and writing captions.
- Comfort using platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Canva.
- A friendly and approachable personality.
- Ability to take direction, welcome feedback, and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of how to keep content professional, respectful, and appropriate.
- Residency in Davidson, Outlook, or another community within the Riverbend Co-op trading area.
- Access to a smartphone or device that takes quality photos and videos is considered an asset.

- This position is located in Outlook, Saskatchewan.
- The work is on-site.
- This is a paid, part-time position with a rolling term.
