About the role#
As a summer 2027 intern at Mercer Advisors, you will work with colleagues to provide service and support to our clients. This 10-week program focuses on professional development and mentorship, allowing you to apply your academic coursework to real-world financial services tasks. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with client service requests and special projects.
- Track client information using the Contact Relationship Management system.
- Support the team with daily administrative tasks.
- Act as an on-site service associate to help address a range of client issues.
- Research and resolve client concerns by working with local and centralized teams.
- Ensure all paperwork, policies, and procedures are followed.
- Adhere to compliance and risk management protocols.
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's (rising Junior or Senior) or Master's program.
- Academic background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professional conduct.
- Genuine interest in developing knowledge of the financial services industry.
Location & details#
- Locations: Boston, MA; Charleston, SC; Grand Rapids, MI; Hunt Valley, MD; Irvine, CA; Lexington, KY; Louisville, KY; New York, NY.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
- Compensation: Paid internship ($17-$20 per hour).
