About the role#
Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union is hiring a part-time student Teller for our Saugerties branch. This is a year-round, on-site position designed for students who want to work while attending school. You must be currently enrolled in an educational program to be considered for this role.
What you'll do#
- Process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Assist members with routine service needs, including password resets and account troubleshooting.
- Maintain a balancing record of 90% or better.
- Perform first-line maintenance and settlement for equipment like ITMs, ATMs, and TCRs.
- Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services to meet individual goals.
- Organize your workstation to maintain a professional appearance and efficient workflow.
- Handle vault cash and assist with daily branch reconciliation.
What you'll need#
- A high school education or GED.
- One to three years of similar or related experience.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform sedentary work for 6-8 hours daily.
- Current enrollment in a school program.
