About the role#
The Project Coordinator Co-op supports Project Managers and field staff on large Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional construction projects. You will help ensure projects stay on schedule and follow company standards. This is a 12-month paid position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support to project teams and field staff.
- Organize and distribute project documents and drawings from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Set up jobs in ERP systems like Fieldpoint and share details with stakeholders.
- Prepare project start-up binders and close-out documentation such as O&M manuals and as-builts.
- Assist with technician coordination, including daily check-ins and scheduling support.
- Process invoices, billing sheets, and statutory documentation.
- Take and distribute minutes for site and turnover meetings.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of project coordination experience in construction, HVAC, or mechanical contracting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- We welcome students from Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, and Operations Management programs.
