About the role#
We are looking for a Marketing Intern to help plan and execute tactics that attract customers in the West Orange area. This role involves a mix of digital and community-based marketing tasks. You will gain hands-on experience while helping us grow our local presence.
What you'll do#
- Personalize social media pages and manage our posting schedule.
- Research and create content for social media channels.
- Find local home and garden shows or community events to attend.
- Represent the company at events by handing out marketing materials.
- Execute guerrilla marketing tactics like placing lawn signs and door hangers.
- Park vehicles in high-visibility spots for marketing purposes.
- Wear the Gunther mascot costume and wave at people passing by.
What you'll need#
- An enthusiastic and friendly demeanor.
- A strong work ethic and a dependable, self-starting attitude.
- A genuine interest in marketing and a desire to learn.
- Experience using social media systems.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or Communications.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- The location is West Orange, New Jersey.
- We offer rolling terms and are happy to coordinate with your school for course credit.
