About the role#
The Sales Intern will help plan and execute marketing tactics to attract customers in the Columbia area. This role involves a variety of tasks across social media, community outreach, and guerrilla marketing. You will gain experience in marketing and sales while helping the team grow.
What you'll do#
- Personalize social media pages and create content for posts.
- Manage and maintain a posting schedule.
- Research local home and garden shows and community events.
- Represent the company at events by handing out marketing materials.
- Place lawn signs and door hangers in the community.
- Park vehicles in high-visibility spots for marketing purposes.
- Wear the Gunther mascot costume and wave at passersby.

- Experience with social media systems.

- Current enrollment in Marketing or Communications programs is preferred.
