About the role#
The Future Talent Program offers internships lasting up to 12 weeks within the Animal Health Formulation and Analytical Sciences division. You will work on projects focused on new product formulations and processing studies. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience in a laboratory and pilot plant setting while contributing to the development of products for companion and livestock animals.
What you'll do#
- Support product formulation and processing studies.
- Develop novel physical and chemical analytical characterization methods.
- Troubleshoot and resolve formulation processing and testing problems.
- Demonstrate new or improved processes.
- Collect information and develop solutions for projects of limited scope.
- Apply scientific principles, theories, and techniques.
- Follow safety protocols in research and manufacturing environments.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma.
- Current enrollment in a College or University undergraduate or graduate program.
- Junior or Senior status.
- Degree pursuit in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or Chemistry.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills, including flexibility and the ability to work in a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
