About the role#
This paid internship offers a 10-12 week opportunity within the Research and Development Division. You will join the Cardiometabolic disease team to gain hands-on experience in drug discovery and development. The program runs full-time during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in specific projects within the Cardiometabolic disease team.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams in a research lab setting.
- Engage in drug discovery and development activities to build practical skills.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a BS, BA, MS, or Ph.D. in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies or one year of graduate studies before the start date.
- Enrollment in an academic program for at least one semester following the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Prior laboratory research experience, specifically with in vitro cell line culture and in vitro assay research.
- Training and understanding of safe laboratory practices.
- A commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
