    About the role#

    The Community Partner Liaison builds and maintains relationships with local businesses and community organizations. You will create internship and community service opportunities for clients. This role involves proactive outreach, fieldwork, and collaboration with internal teams to manage client referrals and placements.

    What you'll do#

    • Build partnerships with local businesses through cold calls, field work, and attending events.
    • Meet monthly goals for new partnerships and client referrals.
    • Formalize agreements by executing Memoranda of Understanding.
    • Act as the main point of contact for HRA programs and internship sites.
    • Promote opportunities to clients during workshops and individual screenings.
    • Assist clients with enrollment, discuss training options, and gather feedback.
    • Prepare candidates for assignments by ensuring all applications and documentation are complete.
    • Track partnership data and maintain accurate records.
    • Update the client resource guide and office bulletin boards monthly.
    • Manage documentation and workflows using computer systems.

    What you'll need#

    • A Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience, an Associate's degree with 5 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 7 years of experience.
    • At least 3 years of experience working with the public assistance population, employment services, or social services.
    • Experience in client service and relationship management.
    • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
    • Basic computer literacy and software skills.
    • Effective problem-solving and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work a flexible weekday schedule and travel to various locations.
    • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish or another common language are a plus.
