About the role#
This is a paid, full-time clinical internship for students pursuing a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling. You will gain hands-on experience by providing therapy and supporting client care while working under supervision. This position operates on a rolling basis and offers the potential for future transition into a full-time role.
What you'll do#
- Provide individual, group, or family therapy to clients.
- Manage clinical consultations and provide minor case management services.
- Maintain regular communication with assigned professionals, parents, and outside agencies.
- Advocate for clients and make recommendations for clinical and support services.
- Participate in treatment conferences, team meetings, and clinical discussions.
- Complete required documentation and paperwork accurately and within designated timelines.
- Attend agency and community meetings to support professional development.
- Demonstrate positive leadership and promote a team-based work environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's Degree program in Clinical Counseling.
- Valid CT (Counselor Trainee) status.
- A valid Ohio Driver's License, a safe driving record, and valid insurance.
- A strong desire to make an impact through our mission.
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including drug tests and background checks.
- Ability to pass a physical examination and a TB test.

- This is an on-site position.
- Locations include Cleveland, Columbus, Lorain, New Philadelphia, Canton, and Fairlawn, Ohio.
