    About the role#

    OhioGuidestone offers a clinical internship for students pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work. This is a paid, full-time position that provides hands-on experience in community behavioral health. You will work directly with clients and clinical staff to support treatment goals.

    What you'll do#

    • Build therapeutic relationships with clients to provide individual, group, or family therapy.
    • Advocate for client needs and recommend appropriate clinical or support services.
    • Participate in team meetings, treatment conferences, and clinical discussions.
    • Manage regular communication with parents, outside agencies, and assigned professionals.
    • Complete necessary documentation and paperwork accurately and on time.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be currently working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
    • A valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance is required.
    • You must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, which include drug tests and background checks.

    • This internship is on-site at locations in Cleveland, Columbus, Canton, New Philadelphia, Fairlawn, Defiance, and Napoleon, Ohio.
    • The internship term is rolling.
