About the role#
Ellie Mental Health in Pembroke Pines is seeking a Licensed Intern Clinical Therapist to join our team. This role focuses on providing therapy services while working with a team to improve access to mental health care. You will work under the direction of the Clinical Director and manage a caseload while maintaining clinical documentation.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create treatment plans.
- Provide clinical interventions to reduce symptoms and support daily living skills.
- Complete clinical documentation in line with company policies.
- Collaborate with case managers, families, medical personnel, and other staff.
- Use creative interventions to help clients reach their therapeutic goals.
- Participate in all clinical staff meetings and training sessions.
- Deliver quality service to clients while maintaining ethical standards.
What you'll need#
- Active Registered Intern FL license and a current NPI number.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to formulate treatment plans based on client history and symptoms.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
- Ability to provide clear and concise written documentation.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, and insurance billing is preferred.
- A creative approach to mental health is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
- This role is paid and follows a rolling term.
