About the role#
OneFourTwo Design Group is hiring a Structural Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, Texas. You will work alongside our team of architects and engineers to assist with structural design projects.
What you'll do#
- Communicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and project team members.
- Prepare preliminary designs for client review.
- Review building codes to ensure designs meet all requirements.
- Attend client meetings and coordinate with various engineering disciplines.
- Produce construction-ready design drawings using Revit.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program, either graduate or undergraduate.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- A strong work ethic.
- Previous construction or engineering internship or co-op experience is helpful.
