About the role#
OneMain Financial is looking for students to join our 10-week Analyst Internship Program. You will work on a real-world use case in consumer finance analytics rather than a simulation. If your solution performs well, it may be deployed in the market. You will receive guidance from managers and mentorship from analysts early in their careers. You will also have direct exposure to senior leaders in business and credit management.
What you'll do#
- Apply strategic thinking and analytic skills to solve complex, unstructured business problems.
- Develop creative technical solutions to improve company decision making, customer experience, and shareholder returns.
- Actively contribute to our team culture by sharing knowledge and helping peers.
- Work on a real-world project, such as creating digital marketing campaigns or optimizing how we assign applications to branch team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate analytic degree program, such as Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Physics, or Operations Management.
- An expected graduation date of Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A track record of working with diverse teams to deliver complex projects.
- An innovative mindset capable of developing creative solutions to data-driven problems.

- Locations: Wilmington, Delaware or Charlotte, North Carolina.
- This is a paid, full-time, hybrid internship.
- Hiring is on a rolling basis.
