About the role#
As an AI Intern, you will join our Business Intelligence team to design, build, and deploy generative AI solutions. You will gain hands-on experience by developing applications using on-premises infrastructure, open-weight large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and modern machine learning practices. You will see a project through from initial concept to a production-ready state.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and deploy generative AI solutions to address business challenges.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and training sessions to define project objectives.
- Research, test, and implement new AI tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess project feasibility and prioritize initiatives.
- Turn business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
- Share your knowledge of AI developments with the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Completed coursework in Data Structures and Algorithms, Database, Programming, and User Experience.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and learn new tasks quickly.
- Strong self-motivation and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Comfort working in a changing environment.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in either Bel Air, Maryland, or Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
