About the role#
As a Lending Intern, you will explore different career paths and gain hands-on experience by working with various departments. You will report to a manager who acts as a mentor, though you will have exposure to multiple areas of the organization. This role involves participating in meetings, contributing to specific projects, and networking with teammates, industry partners, and other interns.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Lending Officers during sales calls, field visits, and team meetings.
- Assist with sales tracking, reporting, and pipeline management.
- Help gather and organize customer information for pre-call planning and sales presentations.
- Support Lending Officers with new loan activity from the initial application through the final decision.
- Observe the full loan lifecycle from origination to closing.
- Research loan servicing options and gather documentation to initiate requests.
- Work on projects designed to improve department processes and performance.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Finance, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and exercise judgment.
- Flexibility to adapt to a changing work environment.
- Knowledge of agriculture and agricultural operations is preferred.

- Location: Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (mid-May through early August).
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
