About the role#
As a Decision Science Analyst Intern, you will provide decision support across various business areas. You will apply mathematical and statistical techniques to draw conclusions and make recommendations that drive business changes. You will work under direct supervision to gather, manipulate, and synthesize data to enable analytical solutions. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals on real business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Leverage business, analytical, and technical knowledge to understand and address business objectives.
- Manipulate structured and unstructured data to support analytical solutions.
- Support the delivery of business insights through machine learning, simulation, and optimization.
- Partner with senior team members to develop and deploy models within the Model Development Control and Model Risk Management framework.
- Maintain Information Asset Inventories and ensure information delivery aligns with Information Governance standards.
- Manage metadata repositories and ensure proper metadata association.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
- A graduation date between August 2027 and June 2028.
- Up to 2 years of experience in data, analytics, or a related business function.
- Foundational knowledge of statistical or mathematical decision-making and testing methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis tools, data visualization, and developing queries in SQL, SAS, or other BI software.
- Proficiency in at least one scripted language like Python or R.
- Experience with database query languages such as SQL, HQL, or NoSQL.
- Ability to connect external insights to specific business problems.

- This internship is located on-site in San Antonio, Texas.
- The program runs during the Summer 2027 term, specifically from June 2, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
