About the role#
The AM Risk team identifies, analyzes, and reports on emerging risks to help management improve internal controls and processes. As a Co-Op, you will help broaden the coverage of our Risk Workstation by conceptualizing new risk indicators, analyzing data, and building data exploration tools. You will work with various departments to interpret large datasets and support strategic business decisions.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends.
- Create visualizations and reports to present your findings to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain data systems and analytics tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights.
- Help maintain and improve data quality and integrity.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to data strategy discussions.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- You have a basic understanding of tools like SQL, Python, R, or Excel.
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You communicate clearly and effectively in presentations.
- You can work independently and as part of a team.
- You have strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Proficiency in Java or Python is preferred.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms is a plus.

- This is a full-time, paid position.
- This role is on-site in Boston, MA, Merrimack, NH, or Smithfield, RI.
- This position follows a rolling term.
