About the role#
Fidelity Investments is hiring a current Master’s or MBA student for a 6-month co-op within the Advanced Analytics and Customer Insights team. You will work with diverse data sources, including transactional history, digital clickstream, and customer attributes, to uncover insights that inform strategic decisions and improve the customer experience.
What you'll do#
- Analyze customer behavior across web, mobile, IoT, phone, and branch touchpoints to spot trends.
- Use advanced analytics tools like time series analysis, graph algorithms, and sequential pattern mining to guide product development.
- Improve existing analytical capabilities to deliver deeper insights.
- Apply structured thinking to solve business problems and conduct independent analysis.
- Collaborate with business partners to communicate findings.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an advanced degree in data science, statistics, economics, data analytics, or data engineering.
- Familiarity with programming and database tools such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Experience with business-insights tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Demonstrated interest in finding meaning in data through academic projects, work experience, or data competitions.
- Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to learning.
- Familiarity with Python web-app frameworks like Streamlit, Dash, or Django is a plus.
