About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join our Information Technology Division in Renton, Washington. You will gain experience with enterprise-scale cloud services while working alongside technical teams. This role involves exploring new technologies and may include leading specific projects.
What you'll do#
- Deploy cloud services to multi-cloud environments using DevOps methodologies.
- Build instrumentation for deployments to support networking and containerized workloads.
- Improve cloud operations.
- Work with technical teams to support system development.
What you'll need#
- A recent Bachelor or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Typescript, or Rust.
- Experience with shell scripting in Bash or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD automation.
- Understanding of cloud, distributed computing, and networking concepts.
- Experience with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
- Experience with containerized workloads and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, specifically scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Compensation: $25 per hour for undergraduate students or $30 per hour for graduate students.
