About the role#
PHINIA is looking for an HR Intern to join our team in Auburn Hills. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers sponsorship opportunities based on business need. You will work on-site and participate in a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Lead the recruitment process for students across all US locations, including requisition creation, job posting, resume review, phone screening, interview coordination, and offer generation.
- Complete I-9 forms and maintain personnel folders for new hires to ensure compliance.
- Help update new hire orientation slides with local information.
- Support process documentation for recruitment, onboarding, and engagement procedures.
- Assist with the US student program by planning events and coordinating assignments.
What you'll need#
- You are actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and a bias to action.
- Six months of previous recruitment experience is preferred.
