About the role#
As an Internal Sales summer intern within U.S. Global Wealth Management, you will serve as a resource for the sales team while gaining exposure to the firm’s process, products, and culture. You will build a foundation for understanding how PIMCO partners with financial advisor clients. This internship provides training to prepare for a future career as an Internal Account Analyst, a role that involves obtaining FINRA licenses and managing relationships with financial advisor clients.
What you'll do#
- Participate in project work focused on sales skills, portfolio construction, market research, and resource navigation.
- Gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools.
- Receive feedback at mid-summer and end-of-summer intervals.
- Participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training during the first week.
- Engage in networking, social events, and the Global Month of Volunteering.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA.
- Business proficiency in English.
- Enrollment at a university during the Fall 2027 semester.
- Ability to begin full-time employment between January 2028 and August 2028.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and an interest in using emerging technologies.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects.

- Compensation: Paid at an hourly rate of $43.26.
