About the role#
This 8-week internship provides an immersive introduction to intraday trading. You will work alongside professional traders in a high-performance environment, following a curriculum modeled after our full-time training program. This role focuses on developing your ability to combine discretionary trading with quantitative tools.
What you'll do#
- Complete an 8-week core training program.
- Work directly with elite traders in a team setting.
- Learn discretionary trading techniques.
- Use tools for scripting, dynamic alerting, and bionic trading.
- Develop a personal PlayBook.
- Create basic bionic trading tools with mentorship from our development team.
What you'll need#
- You are a current U.S. college student with a background in Computer Science, Economics, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Finance.
- You have built, analyzed, and optimized an automated trading strategy and can explain your development process in detail.
- You possess a competitive drive and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- You show strong attention to detail and a commitment to constant improvement.
- You have a genuine interest in markets and a desire to learn within a collaborative team.
Location & details#
- The internship takes place on-site in New York, Austin, or Miami.
- The program runs for 8 weeks during Summer 2027.
- This position is unpaid, though university credit is available upon request.
