About the role#
The 2027 Summer Internship is a 10-week program based at our Newport Beach headquarters. You will gain exposure to the end-to-end investment trade lifecycle through structured rotations across the Cash Desk, Middle Office, and Investment Operations teams. This program includes formal training, networking opportunities, and mentorship from senior leaders and peers.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Trade Support, Legal, Compliance, and external partners like custodian banks and broker-dealers.
- Contribute to technology-enabled process enhancements, data analysis, and workflow improvement initiatives.
- Manage cash reporting, internal forecasts, and trade lifecycle controls.
- Use AI-powered tools to solve problems and drive outcomes.
- Participate in educational events and the Global Month of Volunteering.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and will be enrolled during the Fall 2027 semester.
- You have a minimum 3.2 GPA.
- You are business proficient in English.
- You have a strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and the investment trade lifecycle.
- Technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Python, SQL, or VBA are preferred.
- Completed coursework in finance, fixed income, or capital markets is recommended.
- You are able to begin full-time employment between January and August 2028.
