About the role#
Pinon Unified School District seeks an Exceptional Student Services Teacher to support students from preschool through grade 12. You will join our faculty to provide instruction and help students achieve academic and personal growth. This role involves working in various settings with diverse student populations.
What you'll do#
- Provide instruction and support to students with exceptional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on performance.
- Assist in developing and implementing behavior modification plans.
- Maintain accurate records regarding student progress and services.
- Collaborate with families and community agencies to support student achievement.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in education, special education, or a related field.
- Valid Arizona teaching certificate with endorsements in exceptional student services.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education.
- Experience working with students who have various exceptionalities and disabilities.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers and staff.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.

- Location: Pinon, Arizona.

- Compensation includes a $15,000 annual critical need stipend and a $3,000 signing bonus.
