About the role#
This summer internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in public finance investment banking. You will join the Special District Group in Houston to support the team in raising capital for public infrastructure. This program serves as a direct pipeline to full-time positions.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to live deals and projects within the public finance investment banking team.
- Collaborate with team members to raise capital for public infrastructure projects.
- Perform financial and market analysis to support banking transactions.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding project status.
- Support the Special District Group in efforts to expand into new markets.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time MBA program as of fall 2026.
- A clear interest in a career in public finance.
- Proficiency with digital software, databases, and the MS Office suite.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to plan and organize work effectively.
- Work authorization in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for sponsorship.
